ePresence Community – ePresence 3.0 has been released
This is (yet another) program for streaming video alongside a powerpoint presentation. It’s open source, will generate feeds in WMA, RM & QT formats, and uses Flash technology – so Flash Player 7 is required – if you want to participate in VoIP. Just to listen in, the relevant players are required. I was able to listen in with Media Player Classic, and the relevant codecs, rather than having QuickTime or whatever on the PC. Note though, that I couldn’t get the audio stream at work, nor could I get it at home, without knocking back the firewall from “Maximum”.
They’ve got some archived webcasts & the software etc., on the ePresence site.
