Search Engine Interfaces.
A review of search engines, however rather than the standard “number of hits”/ “accuracy of results”, this concentrates on the interface – both for inputting the query, and, probably more usefully outputting the results.
They’ve looked at a variety of search engines, some being new to me, while others were, I suspect experimental versions that didn’t work for whatever reason and are accessible via the Internet Archive only.
There are several that have an audio output, however, from a quick glance, though they have sites that arrange as a net (e.g. Mooter), they don’t seem to have anything that groups results, such as Teoma, or Clusty from Visimo
