Mike Reddy, at the University of Newport, is trying the idea of getting students to write their own exams & making them open book. I’d be interested in how it goes, in particular ensuring that students meet all the relevant learning outcomes & what their QAA people think of it. As an idea, I like it, as students would be working towards something that they want to know, just not sure what externals etc., would make of it…
