Blog Software Smackdown: The Big 3 Reviewed
A nice review of Moveable Type (takes a long time to set up), WordPress (editing the templates can be fiddly) & Textpattern – (sounds very promising, though I’d not heard of it before)
From reading that article, it sounds that WordPress was a better choice than Moveable type – having tried to help a few people set up a blog, something that would have taken an hour wouldn’t have gone down well! While Textpattern had some good points, there were others that made me not quite so sure.
Note: Some of the links in there don’t seem to work in Firefox – they need the reference to Sitepoint at the start removed to go to the actual site.
