The Community Engine Blog: A Learning Blogosphere (1): Into the Deep
This is the report of a blogging initiative set up in the Autumn of 2004 (or, rather as it’s in the US, the fall), for a group of non-technical students.
They were studying databases, and so the author, Bud, used the blogging environment both for them to learn about Blogging, as well as a practical example of generating a database – which could be searched etc.
He was able to get quite a lot of outside blogging experts to comment on the process, and the resulting report is well worth reading.
