I have now managed to get the blog to a stage where I can login, write new posts – generally it’s all working.
The only problem – is that it required just about all the pages to have to be edited.
Quite a few people have been very helpful – both in the University and outside. One suggestion (I’ve have to edit the lines that “require” or “include” other files to include the whole path, not just a relative path) is that it’s related to the fact that there is a tilde in the URL.
They are still looking for me, as clearly it will be a bit of a nuisance every time that I want to update the software.
